I taught my first outdoor class, in animal tracks, as a camp counselor for Everett Public Schools way back in 2005.

I hiked 300 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail in Washington and Oregon during the summer of 2016.

Besides a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and certificates in art and music, she holds a certificate in storytelling!

She's finishing up a certification program for Forest School Practitioners through the Child and Nature Alliance of Canada
